The WordPress platform, implemented and fine-tuned ad hoc, lets every journalist log into their own account to write articles. I also paid close attention to mobile: the portal is fully responsive to guarantee a pleasant browsing experience on smartphones and tablets too.
In August 2015, just four months after launch, Gualdo News is included in the Google News portal and reaches an average of 500 unique users a day.
In December 2015, it hits a record of 5,000 unique users in a single day.
On the occasion of the 2019 municipal elections, the news portal is completely revamped and peaks at about 10,000 unique users in one day.
Gualdo News is currently read by about 20,000 people a month, for a total of over 50,000 sessions.

Exactly two years after the launch of Gualdo News, the site is completely revamped. Along with a fully redesigned responsive interface and a new logo, we introduced https, Disqus as the comment platform, full support for retina displays, compatibility with AMP and Instant Articles, and new ways for readers to interact, like the new reactions at the end of articles.
