This video entered the contest run by Subsonica & Wired to make the official video for the single #Lazzaro, the first track taken from the album Una Nave in una Foresta. Lazzaro is a song that invites you to come out of the crisis, to roll up your sleeves, to change things.
« In a run-down factory, workers are exploited and forced to work like machines while the entrepreneur and his secretary revel in the situation. The workers’ first attempt at rebellion fails, and they realize that together they are strong. So one by one they free themselves for good from this “slavery”, and the entrepreneur realizes that nothing can stop them.
Not even a dismissal letter. With no one left working, it’s the entrepreneur who ends up alone and defeated. »
It’s in these hard times of crisis that work can be used as a “blackmail tool”.
