30 Seconds to Mars - Northern Lights
Lyric video for Northern Lights by Thirty Seconds to Mars, taken from their album LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS.
It was entered in the contest the band launched in the summer of 2016, called “Ever want to make a MARS Video?”.
To build the background footage, I used some Thirty Seconds to Mars videos and picked the parts I felt were in line with the words of Northern Lights.
The overlaid text, instead, recolors dynamically in each sequence, so it always contrasts with the background.
